Job summary

Generac is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer II to lead and coach lean initiatives across our manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. This role drives value-stream improvements, mentors staff in lean tools, and collaborates with the corporate Continuous Improvement team to share best practices and benchmark performance.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on execution with coaching skills to eliminate waste, improve processes, and sustain gains through standard work and visual management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 3 years of Continuous Improvement or Lean Engineering experience.
• Lean principles and tools experience preferred, including Kaizen, 5S, standard work, value stream mapping.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and the Generac Manufacturing System across value streams.
• Coach teams to develop and implement CI solutions for complex process issues.
• Develop, document, and implement standard work to anchor continuous improvement.
• Mentor facility staff in Lean principles and tools and share best practices with corporate CI team.
