Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineering Co-op in the Chicago area to support Lean deployment across facilities.

You will drive process improvements, facilitate Kaizen events, and mentor teams in applying lean tools to safety, quality, and cost metrics. Ideal candidates excel at cross-functional collaboration, have strong Excel/SharePoint skills, and can travel 20–50% to other sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Manage lean transformation activities and projects at a plant.
• Collaborate with automation team to optimize processes and justify automation projects.
• Lead Value Stream Maps and Kaizen/Impact Events through all stages.
• Facilitate team conversations to keep action items accountable.
• Provide training and coaching on lean methods for sustainable improvements.
• Coach process owners on engineering and lean methods to achieve operational excellence.
• Establish performance measures and report progress to plant leadership.
