Job summary

Radiant Power Corporation in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support production process improvements by analyzing workflows to boost efficiency and reduce waste.

You will work with our lean team to implement standard work, PFMEA mindset, time studies, and data-driven planning. A Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering is preferred, with 2+ years in production; aerospace/electronics experience is a plus, and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years in production environment; aerospace/defense electronics experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication, credibility and decisiveness; team-building skills.
• Well-organized, flexible; able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Analytical skills with RCCA implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive out cost through process improvements and documented standard work instructions.
• Design or enhance work areas and layouts with ergonomics and waste elimination.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods and trends.
• Work with lean team to improve process flow.
• Develop and maintain management information, planning and control systems.
• Implement methods to reduce production costs.
• Perform time studies to level load the manufacturing process.
• Implement PFMEA mindset and processes for operators.
• Collaborate across the organization to solve process output issues.
• Develop, implement and communicate best practices.
