Job summary

Sensitron Semiconductor seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to collaborate with all facility departments to design, implement, monitor and sustain manufacturing process improvements. You will drive lean initiatives, improve yield and cost, and establish metrics across production planning, materials management and subcontractor oversight.

The role requires a BS in engineering or sciences and at least 3 years in CI or methods engineering, with strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and data

Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with SPC, Six-Sigma, TRB, FMEA, AS9100 and other quality methodologies.
• Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills; self-starter with positive influence.
• Strong PC skills; proficiency in Excel, Access and PowerPoint; knowledge of databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, monitor, improve and maintain the manufacturing process.
• Lead the introduction and implementation of key manufacturing initiatives driving continuous improvement at all levels.
• Collaborate with all departments to enhance yield, quality, cost and productivity.
• Establish and monitor quality and yield metrics; plan capacity and equipment improvements.
• Specify and evaluate new or replacement equipment and ROI for CI improvements.
