Job summary

CQ Medical designs and manufactures radiation oncology medical devices to improve outcomes for cancer patients. The Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on developing and implementing improved manufacturing methods and processes to boost efficiency, yield, and quality, while supporting ongoing product development and sustaining engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in mechanical engineering or industrial technology; or 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve and simplify existing manufacturing processes with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing focus.
• Work with manufacturing departments and plant management to justify capital equipment expenditures.
• Designs and develops products and generates necessary documentation.
• Investigate new materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Plan, schedule, and manage small product development projects.
• Coordinate inter/intradepartmental communication on new products and process improvements.
