TekniPlex is hiring a Process Engineer for our Madison, WI facility. This role applies engineering principles, team facilitation, and SPC tools to measure and improve key processes in laminated packaging for pharma and medical devices.

He/she manages small capital projects and cross-functional teams to reduce costs and variability, with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Salary is based on experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial or related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of process experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated capability to lead cross functional work teams in process improvements that yield bottom line results.
• Experience in the implementation of statistical process control and/or lean manufacturing principles within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Engineering/Manufacturing Procedure & Work Instruction writing.
• Capable of learning and complying with FDA/GMP regulations and ISO/TS Audits; SPC experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and facilitate cross-functional improvement teams.
• Identify, propose and execute projects to improve efficiency, including planning, funding, and staffing.
• Work with machine operators and Maintenance on equipment modifications and preventative/predictive maintenance to improve reliability.
• Identify and execute projects to improve customer satisfaction through performance and product reliability.
• Provide manufacturing waste, Overall Equipment Effectiveness and other key operational reports to site leadership; investigate issues and drive improvements.
• Develop knowledge of manufacturing processes/equipment; monitor performance and contribute to CER for new/modified equipment.
• Assist in training and quality documentation.
