Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking an Analyst of TPS Promotions to lead and support the Service Parts Operations field network in applying Toyota Production System principles. The role focuses on improving safety, quality, cost and customer service through standardization and kaizen activities across PDCs, PCs and 3PLs.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to drive continuous improvement, develop business cases, and manage department expenses while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in service parts distribution or lean distribution.
• Consensus building and management communication experience.
• Proven ability to develop project schedules, manage status, and report to management.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills in small and large groups.
• Knowledge of Standard Work, Time Study, Gentani, MIFC, TBP, JKK, and A3 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Analysts in process improvement, project development and implementation across PC’s, PDC’s and 3PLs.
• Support labor and cost initiatives through Gentani studies, Kaizen and Jishuken activities.
• Support business case development for team and network projects.
• Collaborate with Facility Process Design, Real Estate & Facilities, PDCs/PCs, partners, and Strategy teams to define standards.
• Assist Yokoten deployment of warehouse kaizen and standards across field locations with tracking through BPAKS.
• Prepare and present materials for training, conferences and kaizen events.
• Develop and monthly manage the department expense budget.
