Job summary

Ceco Door, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, seeks a Director of Operations in Milan, Tennessee. Lead manufacturing operations, drive lean initiatives, and develop leaders to achieve world-class performance with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will drive cost management, employee development, and customer satisfaction while partnering with other sites to ensure operational consistency across the organization. A strategic yet hands-on leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading managers and supervisors in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success driving operational improvements through Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of continuous improvement and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for manufacturing operations.
• Lead and develop a team of managers and supervisors across manufacturing operations.
• Build a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and deploy operational metrics aligned to business objectives.
• Drive improvements in quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPS, and TPM principles.
• Lead CI initiatives through Gemba walks, Kaizen events, and 5S activities.
• Oversee budgets and manage costs and waste reduction.
• Establish communication processes ensuring alignment and accountability.
• Mentor leaders on engagement, leadership, and team development.
• Ensure safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with other ASSA ABLOY Door locations to share best practices.
