Job summary

Advance Storage Products in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Industrial Manufacturing Engineer to support QC initiatives, audits and efficient manufacturing systems. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant Management to provide industrial engineering support.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 5 years in manufacturing, Lean/Kaizen experience, and CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/Inventor/AutoCAD) with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Industrial Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5 years of demonstrated manufacturing experience with high-volume metal fabrication, welding, painting.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide liaison between Production, Quality, Scheduling to meet KPI and customer needs.
• Promote safe practices across the plant and support Lean projects (Kaizen, A3, Fishbone).
• Monitor and improve plant metrics using 6S and related tools.
• Analyze workflow, space, and equipment layout for efficiency improvements.
• Develop requirements, select equipment, and evaluate vendors for production.
• Develop and maintain processes to ensure quality and root-cause analysis.
