Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead material handling, warehouse operations, and inventory control across shifts in New Hampshire. You will drive lean principles, pull systems, and 5S practices to ensure on-time production and safe, cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities include developing PFEP, coordinating with suppliers on quality issues, mentoring teams, and leading continuous improvement events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of progressive Operations management experience.
• Transformational leadership using lean principles utilizing PFEP and related lean methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage material flow from receiving to line-side presentation for production.
• Develop and manage PFEP database for day-to-day operations.
• Lead lean pull systems and 5S environment implementations.
• Oversee inventory, staging, receiving, storage and shipping across shifts.
• Mentor project teams and collaborate with suppliers on quality issues.
• Lead or participate in Failure Mode Effects Analysis teams.
• Plan refresher activities and work with corporate materials strategy.
