Job summary

Malibu Boats is seeking a Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals are met on the production floor in Florida.

You will supervise teams, coordinate schedules, and partner with engineering to maintain lamination standards and continuous improvement. A strong leadership background and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or seven years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience with proven knowledge of fiberglass lamination and boat building.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents and data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations.
• Plan and organize production schedules; coordinate product movement and scheduling.
• Ensure staff can meet production goals in timing and quality.
• Lead safety, quality, cost and delivery initiatives across departments.
• Develop and coach Group Leaders and Team Leaders to improve communication and collaboration.
