Job summary

Petersen is hiring a Scheduler to ensure work is properly scheduled to meet customer needs in Ogden, UT. You will act as primary point person for ERP/MRP elements relevant to production planning and schedules.

You will create and maintain schedules with Microsoft Project, generate reports, and collaborate with operations and IT to improve MRP and lean manufacturing processes. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of scheduling, inventory control and planning methods.
• Familiarity with MRP and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX).
• Ability to type at least 25 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production to meet customer needs.
• Create and maintain production schedules and release orders.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and IT to improve MRP processes.
