Job summary

Petersen is seeking a Scheduler to ensure work is properly scheduled to meet customer needs and production readiness. The role requires coordinating ERP demand/supply, mentoring manufacturing staff in MRP, and driving Lean improvements to the system.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, create schedules, and ensure deadlines are met through Microsoft Project and ERP tools. On-site, full-time position with comprehensive benefits and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
• Strong scheduling and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point person for ERP demand/supply elements for manufactured products.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT to drive systemic improvements and mentor manufacturing personnel in MRP.
• Evolve the MRP system to better fit Lean manufacturing.
• Firm and release production orders for production.
• Create and maintain schedules using project tools; provide quick responses to production issues.

Job Summary:

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Knowledge and utilization of scheduling, inventory control and planning methods
• General understanding of fabrication / machining / inventory and control
• Ability to type at least 25 WPM.

High School Diploma preferred.
