Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Production Supervisor for a high-volume manufacturing environment in Blacksburg, VA. The role leads a production team to ensure safe, efficient operations while driving performance in quality, delivery, and cost.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience, 4+ years in production, and a solid grounding in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Automotive experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience in manufacturing.
• 4+ years of experience in production or manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence practices.
• Experience in automotive or related manufacturing industries is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and engage teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production teams while fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Drive daily production performance by meeting safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and efficiency goals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve manufacturing performance.
• Develop employee training plans, address skill gaps, and ensure workforce readiness and compliance.
• Leverage data, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and strengthen team performance.
