Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Manufacturing & Process Engineer in Richland, MS to optimize both administrative and manufacturing workflows on Voltage Regulator production lines. You will lead lean initiatives, analyze time studies, redesign layouts, and collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations to drive efficiency and safety.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, at least 3 years in manufacturing, and hands-on automation experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.
Hands-on experience with automation technologies and time study methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Lean initiatives to optimize manufacturing and admin processes, reducing waste and driving continuous improvement.
Redesign factory layouts to improve workflow, safety, and scalability.
Support training initiatives to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and admin teams to integrate new processes and technologies.
Conduct time studies and process analyses to identify bottlenecks and actionable improvements.
Implement automation solutions and new technologies to enhance productivity and quality.
