Job summary

Race Winning Brands is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Manager to lead daily output, safety, and quality on the Berea, OH shop floor. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement that reduces cost, waste, and lead time, while coaching a team and applying lean principles to measurable results.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years supervising, proficiency in ERP/MRP and Excel, and strong knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 3+ years supervising production employees.
• Proven track record applying lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, kaizen, standard work, SMED, and kanban.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and shop floor safety practices.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision making.
• Clear communicator who leads on the shop floor across engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first and never pass on a defect on the shop floor.
• Lead lean initiatives to improve cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage manufacturing processes, assets, and workforce to meet daily targets.
• Monitor metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Plan equipment downtime with maintenance to sustain output.
• Coach and develop team members, including staffing and onboarding.
