Job summary

Bosch in Indiana seeks a Lean Manufacturing Coordinator to drive Bosch Production System improvements, lead Kaizen events, and coach teams toward faster, waste-free processes. You will map value streams, implement standardized work, monitor KPIs, and collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and logistics.

A Bachelor’s in engineering and hands-on lean experience are preferred. Indefinite US work authorization required; on-site role with opportunities to train and grow within Bosch's global

Qualifications

• 1+years in BPS, lean manufacturing and/or industrial engineering with a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree required with a preference for Engineering focus.
• Ability to analyze issues, develop actions plans and apply problem solving techniques such as Six Sigma, Shainin, or 5 whys.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations, training, and inter-department collaboration.
• Experience managing projects, supervising teams, prioritizing tasks, and ability to work independently
• Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt, knowledge of automotive industry standards, knowledge of manufacturing quality systems

Responsibilities

• Strategy and implementation: Develop and drive a Bosch Production System (BPS) implementation strategy for specific departments.
• Training and coaching: Conduct training on BPS, problem-solving, and lean tools for operators and supervisors.
• Project leadership: Lead Kaizen events and improvement projects to support value stream targets.
• Performance monitoring and assessment: Review BPS maturity, develop action plans, and track KPIs.
• Documentation and compliance: Maintain BPS documentation and prepare for audits.
• Technology and logistics: Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives and optimize material flow systems.
