Job summary

James Hardie Building Products is offering a 12-week paid internship in Lean manufacturing. You will gain hands-on experience, support HMOS deployment, and contribute to continuous improvement at our U.S. manufacturing site.

Eligible students must be enrolled in a relevant bachelor's program, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be available for full-time work during Summer 2027. This internship provides mentoring, real-world projects, and opportunities to build a professional network.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's program with graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2029.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Available to work full-time for 12 weeks in summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support HMOS daily management systems, standards, KPI tracking and follow-up.
• Participate in Lean workshops and continuous improvement activities.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and gaps.
• Help develop and standardize processes and work instructions.
• Collaborate with operators and cross-functional teams on projects.
• Ensure timely completion and measurable results of projects.
• Present outcomes and learnings to site leadership.
