Job summary

MedDeviceJobs is seeking a Lean & Industrial Engineering Manager for our Pendergrass, GA facility. You will lead Lean manufacturing and IE strategies to boost productivity, labor efficiency, and capacity while building a culture of continuous improvement that supports growth.

The role requires 5–7 years in IE/Lean/CI and a Bachelor’s in a related field; previous leadership and data-driven optimization experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Experience leading Lean, productivity, or Industrial Engineering initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean principles, work measurement, capacity planning, line balancing, and process optimization.
• Experience identifying and implementing operational improvements using data and analysis.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lean & Industrial Engineering function and develop team capabilities.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize productivity, labor utilization, capacity, manufacturing flow, and factory layout.
• Establish labor standards, staffing models, capacity plans, and performance metrics.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, and structured problem-solving efforts.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve operational performance and deliver measurable business results.
• Build a culture of accountability, data-driven decision making, and operational excellence.
