Job summary

Summit Polymers in Michigan seeks an SLMS Engineer to lead the Summit Lean Manufacturing System on the plant floor, driving process improvements and standardized work across the facility. Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree.
• 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Wonderlic Select score 50.

Responsibilities

• Lead SLMS implementation across the facility.
• Conduct SLMS audits and kaizen activities.
• Analyze manufacturing methods for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Teach SLMS concepts to plant employees.
• Lead projects and make on-site decisions.
• Develop and maintain plant floor layouts.
• Occasional travel to other SPI plants.
• Perform other duties as required.
