3M is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our global team. You will drive lean initiatives, optimize processes, and support a 24x7 operation across multiple sites. This role offers exposure to capital investments, NPI, and new technologies.

Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s or higher in engineering, experience in diverse environments, and strong problem-solving, DOE and statistical analysis skills. Travel up to 10% and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Three years of engineering experience in private, public, government or military environment.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams from multiple locations and divisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Six Sigma teams and PPU efforts to improve safety, yields and productivity.
• Drive capital investment, NPI and new technologies to increase manufacturing capabilities.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis and implement robust solutions.
• Communicate at all levels to drive direction and positive change.
• Support a 24x7 operation with willingness to be on-call.
