ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives at our Berlin, CT site. You will work closely with Design Engineers, production teams, and vendors to develop new products and optimize manufacturing workflows.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing, 3–5 years of experience, and hands-on knowledge of lean manufacturing and tooling. Onsite work is performed Monday–Friday at our Berlin, CT office.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and/or Manufacturing or equivalent is required.
• Lean manufacturing practices (Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping) are essential.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop quality plans for products.
• Lead corrective actions based on root cause analysis.
• Plan, commission and maintain machine and assembly production lines.
• Coordinate projects and provide technical support to customers and vendors.
