Job summary

Schlumberger is seeking Manufacturing Engineer specialists for Process, Production or Technology roles in Kansas. You will develop innovative manufacturing techniques, standards, and training programs for shop floor personnel, while collaborating with Engineering to scale new products and capture lessons from existing processes.

Responsibilities include leading Lean implementations, line balancing, and continuous improvement of yield, cycle time, and productivity, with active involvement in ECRs

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma methods to manufacturing processes.
• Ability to develop standards and training plans for shop floor personnel.
• Collaborates with Engineering and Manufacturing Technology to introduce new processes.
• Experience with process yield, cycle time reduction, and productivity improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean manufacturing implementations and Six Sigma tooling.
• Develop and implement standardized work, line balancing, layout, and routing improvements.
• Improve processes to boost yield, reduce cycle time, and raise productivity.
• Provide shop floor feedback on design for manufacturability and ECRs.
• Review and sign-off Engineering Change Orders impacting inventory.
