Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to improve efficiency and scalability of production processes on the factory floor. You will apply knowledge of design, fabrication, assembly, and training, while interfacing with equipment vendors and technicians.

You will promote lean practices, establish cost standards, prepare reports, ensure OSHA compliance, and create training materials such as assembly videos. Proficient Excel and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in an engineering field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Thorough understanding of assembly and testing processes learned through prior roles.
• Prior experience in a high-production environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Improve the efficiency and scalability of manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly processes (including training), tools, and materials.
• Confer with equipment vendors and solicit observations from technicians.
• Support and create a world-class manufacturing environment on the production floor with efficiency, organization, and cleanliness.
• Establish lean practices and 5S organizational tools through regular events.
• Establish standards for production, labor, and material costs and estimate future requirements.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain safety records and comply with OSHA standards and government regulations.
• Document maintenance requirements for tools and equipment used in manufacturing.
• Create assembly videos to aid onboarding and training of technicians.
• Design testing or qualification methods to assure product and process quality.
