Clover Consulting in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for FIRST shift on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. The role is on-site and focuses on introducing new products and improving productivity across production processes.

You will act as a technical expert in process technology, leading improvements, providing floor support, and guiding significant project initiatives from planning to implementation.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree or equivalent education is required.
• Strong analytical skills with lean manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience leading projects and facilitating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead introduction of new products into the facility and improve production procedures.
• Provide ongoing manufacturing life-cycle support and diagnose issues to minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities to reduce labor and material costs and improve productivity.
• Lead significant product/process changes and implement new technologies.
