Job summary

Electrolux Group in Springfield, TN, is seeking an Engineer to lead manufacturing process improvement and operational excellence across the production line. You will design efficient production systems, implement lean initiatives, optimize material flow, and drive continuous improvement from launch through full-scale production.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and experience with Lean, Kaizen, and 5S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CAD software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of bills of materials (BOMs), labor standards, and production routing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, waste elimination, and shop floor Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process improvement and operational excellence.
• Design efficient production systems and optimize material flow.
• Implement lean initiatives (5S, Kanban, Kaizen) and TPM.
• Develop equipment, materials and process performance requirements.
• Train personnel on new processes, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with operations and other engineers in problem solving.
