Job summary
Oshkosh Corporation’s Vocational Tennessee facility in Murfreesboro is seeking an entry- to mid-level engineer to support manufacturing and process improvements. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering or related field.
- 1–2+ years of experience in engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Under close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations and investigations according to Oshkosh standards.
- Support senior engineers in facility processes, designs, and reporting.
- Manage multiple projects or parts of a project of limited complexity.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, or production build.
- Analyze space requirements and layout for equipment and workspace optimization.
- Review change notices, proposals, and continuous improvement requests.
- Participate in cost studies, time estimation, and technical proposals.
- Review regulatory proposals to determine impact on projects.
- Review and recommend fixture and tooling design.
