Job summary

OMEGA, Inc. is seeking an early-career Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence in our Georgia manufacturing operations.

You will lead Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and production-flow improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams to eliminate waste and improve safety, quality and productivity. You will analyze performance data, design layouts, and implement standardized work with a strong emphasis on sustainable, measurable gains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial/ manufacturing engineering or related technical discipline.
3-5 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proven experience leading Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
Facilitate Kaizen events and apply Lean tools like 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
Analyze production data, conduct time studies, and identify opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
Design and implement process, layout, and material flow improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to deliver sustainable improvements.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve recurring issues.
Support new product introductions, capacity planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.
Develop and monitor KPIs and sustain improvements through training, audits, and standardized work.
