Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
  • Passing score on PE/FE exam is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workers and machinery in the manufacturing unit.
  • Devise efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and energy to produce a product or provide a service.
  • Design, develop and maintain manufacturing routes to maximize effectiveness and space.
  • Review production schedules, engineering specifications, and process flows to understand methods and activities.
  • Develop management control systems to improve financial planning and cost analysis.
  • Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to meet quality standards.
  • Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
  • Confer with clients, vendors, management, and staff about specifications and status.
