Job summary

ABB is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Senatobia, MS onsite. You will define the working phase sequence for new or existing production processes to hit the targeted product cost and equipment budgets within ABB Smart Power.

You will join the Process Engineering team overseeing lean-based improvements for existing and new products in ABB's expanding facility. The role emphasizes developing and optimizing processes from concept through startup, analyzing data for cycle time and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering required with 1+ year of manufacturing/production experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and Six Sigma principles desired.
• Working knowledge of process engineering software is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/AutoCAD and process simulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept through startup and production ramp.
• Assess process performance by collecting and analyzing data to optimize cycle time, equipment capability, materials, and ergonomics.
• Define and maintain process and test standards, instructions, and test equipment requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including engineering changes and new product introduction support.
