Job summary

ABB is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Senatobia, MS. The role focuses on defining working phase sequences to achieve product cost targets and budget for ABB Smart Power.

You will work in the Process Engineering team on standardization and lean improvements for existing and new products within a 200,000-square-foot facility expansion, including testing equipment specs. You will develop and optimize processes from concept to production, analyze data for performance, and implement

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering with at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• CAD or AutoCAD skills are required.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma is desired.
• Experience with process engineering software and simulations is a plus.
• 2nd Shift: Mon-Thu 7pm-5am; must have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept through startup and ramp.
• Analyze data to improve process performance including cycle time, equipment capability, and ergonomics.
• Define and maintain process and test standards, operating instructions, and test equipment specs.
• Drive continuous improvement including engineering changes and new product introductions.
