Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Malden, MA is seeking a Senior KPO Technician to lead hands-on shop floor Kaizen activities and support the Kaizen Promotion Office. The role emphasizes a safe, efficient Lean operation with hands-on continuous improvement tasks on-site.

The position is 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and requires experience in manufacturing with Lean/Six Sigma familiarity. Must be US-working and ITAR/EAR compliant. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years in continuous improvement related experience.
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with all functional departments and handle Continuous Improvement requests.
• Undertakes independent projects as needed in support of department.
• Supports Supervisors, Team Leaders and Associates in the application of the Lean principles.
• Assists in the creation of Work Instructions, Daily Management, 6 Sigma and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Documents.
• Assists in designs and fabricates equipment from Creform Tubing and other materials.
• Assists in the completion of Kaizen Newspaper Action Items.
• Participates in and supports Kaizen Event.
• Adheres to all Core Values (Health and Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Development of People, Integrity, Corporate Citizenship, Continuous Improvement, Respect).
