Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Travel required: 10–25%.
• Work schedule: 7 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday; may be required outside these hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitors operations to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
• Ensures processes meet quality standards.
• Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
• Reviews production schedules, processes and specifications.
• Evaluates data to implement improvements in production.
• Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize issues.
• Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
• Prepares inventory analysis and procurement purchase orders.
• Designs facility layouts and personnel requirements.
• Helps develop instruction manuals and process documentation.
• Ensures safe work processes and addresses safety concerns.
• Generates process reports.
• Participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program.
• Performs other related duties as required.
