Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a Continuous Improvement Analyst I to drive Lean, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence across manufacturing operations. You will leverage data analytics, automation, and CI methodologies to optimize performance and reduce waste, collaborating with regional ICT stakeholders.

The role emphasizes reporting, cost reduction, and supporting digital factory initiatives, with Power BI usage and experience in high-volume environments highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering, or Operational Excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, preferably automotive or electronics.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, including molding, assembly, BOM, and routing.
  • Strong data analytics and reporting skills, preferably using Power BI.
  • Fluent English communication skills; Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Experience with SAP, Power Apps, AutoCAD, automation, or digitalization projects is an advantage.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the factory.
  • Drive Operational Excellence programs including TPM, Kanban, AGV, QCO, waste reduction, and process optimization.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Analyze machine capacity, manpower planning, inventory levels, and material flow to optimize operations and support business growth.
  • Support digitalization and automation initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and technology deployment.
  • Collaborate with ICT teams and global stakeholders to drive TEOA, Continuous Improvement, and Digital Factory initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and recommendations to support manufacturing strategy and operational objectives.
  • Lead and execute cost reduction, waste reduction, and productivity improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
  • Utilize Power BI and data analytics tools to identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide Continuous Improvement support for manufacturing processes including molding, assembly, BOM, routing and floor layout optimization.
