Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Engraving Solutions business. You will direct daily shop-floor operations across Value Streams, actively manage Lean boards, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement.

The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost, collaborating across departments to meet customer expectations. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with Lean, TPS, and SAP ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5 years of equivalent supervisory experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience leading change management initiatives.
• Hands-on Lean Manufacturing, 8-Step Problem Solving, and TPS experience desired.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP software desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate material flow and production schedules.
• Train and mentor Machine Operators on responsibilities and SOPs.
• Analyze production specs and capacity data to determine processes and staffing.
• Maintain quality standards and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Standardize planning procedures and workflows to boost efficiency.
• Expedite and adjust operations to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Identify bottlenecks and adapt plans to delays.
• Plan daily fabrication steps based on sequences and lead times.
• Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash metrics (SQDCC).
• Collaborate with Value Stream teams to meet customer expectations.
• Allocate resources and support new product introductions.
