Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a DBS Engineer Intern to drive operational excellence on the shop floor. You will apply DBS and Lean principles to design, prototype, and validate process improvements in manufacturing and related functions.

You will lead trystorming sessions, conduct time studies, layout optimization, and capacity modeling to reduce waste and boost productivity while developing data-driven solutions and standard work documentation.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business, or design.
• Demonstrated hands-on process improvement, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Strong knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, 3P, Daily Management, Visual Controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test process improvements on the shop floor using Lean tools.
• Lead trystorming sessions to rapidly prototype and validate ideas.
• Apply industrial engineering techniques to improve flow, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Create and maintain standard work, process documentation, and visual controls to sustain improvements.
