Job summary

FC Industries Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking a Lean Engineer to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations, lead Kaizen events, and implement Lean principles to boost productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, floor leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will develop value stream maps, target non-value-added activities, and advance standard work procedures while tracking KPI improvements and educating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing process improvement experience.
• Proven cost reduction achievements.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain Value Stream Maps.
• Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Reduce changeover times using SMED methodologies.
• Capture and educate operators to record/reduce scrap.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Facilitate root cause analysis investigations.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures.
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
• Track and report KPI improvements.
• Train employees on Lean tools and methodologies.
