Job summary

RowanEDC Partnership is seeking an ambitious Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive energy transformation initiatives in Salisbury, NC. You will work with enterprise teams to implement lean processes, improve standards, and deliver measurable throughput gains across manufacturing lines.

The role requires strong problem-solving, data analysis, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Travel up to 50% is expected as projects span multiple sites and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in related Engineering field or MBA preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 2–5 years of progressive manufacturing process design and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements and standards for repeatable, flawless execution.
• Implement Continuous Improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
• Analyze problems using lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, standard work, Six Sigma, 5S).
• Lead multiple CI/IE projects with minimal oversight.
• Develop and implement project plans toward Future State.
• Lead Kaizen and value stream mapping activities within budget and schedule.
• Conduct time studies, develop work standards, optimize line balancing.
• Develop metrics to track lean manufacturing improvements and cost reductions.
• Provide training on lean manufacturing techniques and standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Perform other duties as required.
