Job summary

Landmark Snacks in Beatrice, NE is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist on 1st shift to drive operational excellence on the production floor, collaborating with operators, supervisors, QA, and maintenance to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.

You will collect and analyze data, support Lean/5S and Kaizen initiatives, create reports and dashboards, and help implement corrective actions while ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred and 0–2 years of manufacturing/continuous improvement experience.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong math, analytical, and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and in a team while handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Observe production processes and document procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collect and analyze data (production, downtime, quality, labor, waste) and report trends.
• Support Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and root-cause analysis; prepare dashboards and KPI reports for leadership.
