Qualifications

• Engineering background with strong understanding of operations and lean principles.
• Excel proficiency is mandatory; Power BI or SAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to coach teams, build systems, and collaborate within a strong leadership team.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for coaching the rigorous usage and ongoing improvement of lean manufacturing tools in the Pryor Paper Mill and Converting Plant.
• Conduct quarterly loss analyses to identify top opportunities, lead cost savings initiatives, and ensure site action plans are aligned with opportunities.
• Provide guidance on rigorous usage of foundational lean tools – PerformEx as a day-to-day way of working.
• Execute regular loss analysis data drilldowns to identify key opportunities for improvements.
• Serve as the problem-solving lead for teams solving complex issues following a DMAIC process.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
