Job summary

Permobil is hiring an Associate Continuous Improvement Leader in Pasco, WA for a full‑time role. You will support Lean and continuous improvement projects across operations, participate in Kaizen events, and analyze data to identify opportunities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 0–2 years in manufacturing or related fields and proficiency in Excel/Office. Join a team focused on waste reduction and process excellence to enhance customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, or continuous improvement environments.
• Basic understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Lean and continuous improvement projects across operations.
• Participate in Kaizen events, workshops, and improvement activities.
• Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Assist in documenting standard work instructions and process maps.
• Conduct basic time studies and process observations.
• Help identify and eliminate waste using Lean methodologies.
• Support 5S workplace organization initiatives and audits.
• Track improvement project progress and maintain documentation.
• Assist with root cause analysis using 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and Pareto Analysis.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
• Support Lean training and continuous improvement activities.
