Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned Lean Coach to lead and advance Lean initiatives across the Carolinas. You will guide project teams in applying the Last Planner System, host training sessions, and drive continuous improvement to align with regional goals.

You will collaborate with PMs and regional leaders, develop standard work, and support launches using Lean Roadmap. Extensive travel and strong leadership are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus minimum five years’ related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Last Planner System project experience; BIM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Lean initiatives at the Business Unit or Project level to improve customer value and collaboration.
• Work daily with teams using the Last Planner System mechanics.
• Provide insight, direction and strategic alignment to the project team.
• Support project launches using the Launch Matrix and Lean Roadmap as planning tools.
• Establish Visual Management, 5S, and standard lean training across projects and regions.
• Coach and develop teams through workshops and training to propagate lean principles.
• Conduct regular project reviews with leadership to set measurable improvement goals.
• Travel extensively to support multiple projects and sites.
