Job summary

kimballcareers is seeking a motivated Hourly CI Associate to lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor. You will drive Kaizen events, map value streams, and train teams in Lean tools while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing focused on CI, plus completion of a Lean Internship Program. Expect collaboration across departments and a strong emphasis on problem solving and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, including leading or facilitating CI projects and Kaizen events.
• Enhanced troubleshooting and administrative skills.
• Leading improvement initiatives (Kaizen events) from conception through implementation.
• Oversee the success of Kaizen events, including coordination of strategic and detailed plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or participate in CI events to improve processes.
• Support the implementation of process improvements.
• Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities and events.
• Verify effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Participate in the Lean Internship Program.
• Support safety and environmental initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication across teams and customers.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
• Support and model the Company's Vision and Guiding Principles.
• Support the Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE.
• Follow and support Quality Systems.
