Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a CI Manager to drive sustained process improvements in a Romeoville, IL facility, delivering breakthroughs in safety, quality, on‑time delivery and cost. The role requires hands‑on leadership, strong Lean manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to coach teams through change.

Responsibilities include leading Kaizen events, coaching facilitators, developing action plans, and implementing SAP and RCA methods to reduce waste while improving morale and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but work equivalent work experience will be accepted.
• 2–3 years of Continuous Improvement experience.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, facilitates, and coaches full week Kaizen events to drive sustainable improvements.
• Coach Point Kaizen facilitators through prework, the event, and sustainment.
• Develop and execute improvement action plans; build an employee engaged work environment; teach CI tools to CI and Non-CI employees.
• Perform theory of constraints analysis to improve throughput.
• Drive productivity roadmaps across departments and facility.
• Track CI initiatives and drive cost savings to meet targets.
• Understand SAP tools to meet plant needs; coach HPS tools to improve plant areas.
• Build Lean culture and share best practices across plants.
• Facilitate and coach RCA to reduce waste in processes.
• Work with customers, suppliers and management; manage multiple projects.
