Job summary

TA Services seeks a results-driven Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive warehouse Lean initiatives, develop engineered standards and KPIs, and optimize processes across warehousing operations. You will lead cross-functional projects, deploy 5S, Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping, and shape layouts and equipment choices based on product flow.

The role requires 1–3 years in engineering or continuous improvement, strong analytical skills, and experience with WMS systems (Oracle/HighJump).

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
1–3 years of experience in an Engineering/Continuous Improvement role preferred.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Experience developing KPIs and engineered labor standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word).
Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, DAX, or C++ preferred.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle, ASC Trac, HighJump).
Familiarity with material handling equipment selection and facility layout planning.
Background in safety reporting and compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives – Lead warehouse-wide deployment of Lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, A3, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), problem solving, and layout optimization.
Develop Engineered Standards & KPIs – Create measurable performance standards, establish operational KPIs, and rigorously deploy metrics to drive accountability and improvement.
Project Management & Process Optimization – Identify improvement opportunities, coordinate resources, and manage projects to deliver measurable cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Engineering & Systems Solutions – Provide solutions for warehouse processes, facility layouts, material handling equipment, and WMS systems (Oracle, ASC Trac, HighJump) based on activity levels and product flow.
Safety & Compliance Leadership – Serve as site safety representative with corporate guidance, oversee safety reporting, maintain SOPs, and support ISO certification efforts.
