Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive lean initiatives across our logistics and distribution operations. You will partner with field operations to design, implement, and sustain process improvements that reduce waste, improve quality, and lower costs while supporting fast growth across markets.

In this role, you will lead data-driven projects, coach leaders, and help scale our operational systems.

Qualifications

• Five-to-seven years hands-on experience in manufacturing, warehouse, and/or delivery operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, project management or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles; Yellow Belt Six Sigma Certification preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with Operations, HR, Supply, Innovation, Customer Care, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Support the launch of new projects nationwide with emphasis on West Coast fulfillment operations.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Production and Delivery Operations.
• Support startup, validation, and sustainment of existing and upcoming software and systems.
• Recommend processes to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and yields.
• Develop training requirements and coach CI Engineers to build lean capability.
