Job summary

Metromont LLC is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead lean initiatives across multiple plants. The role drives VSM-based improvements, standardizes processes, and mentors teams in lean principles, while coordinating with operations and engineered solutions to achieve cost, quality, and safety goals.

Splitting time between plant and office, this position requires strong project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a proven track record in manufacturing CI and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7 years of experience in a continuous improvement role within manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and TPS principles.
• Experience with robotics and other automation a plus.
• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead VSM events to establish/update current state and identify future state targets.
• Drive process improvement projects and Just Do It initiatives based on VSM opportunities.
• Apply lean techniques to standardize work and drive efficiency.
• Mentor associates in lean principles and methodologies.
• Provide information and support to plant management, and coordinate with Engineered Solutions.
