You will work independently in the field using advanced leakage detection techniques and handheld devices to support reducing water loss and improving network performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Leakage Technician.
• Knowledge of clean water distribution networks.
• Experience using leak detection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out proactive leakage detection activities on live water networks.
• Use acoustic leak detection equipment and specialist technology to identify hidden leaks.
• Undertake sounding, correlating, step testing and leak verification.
• Accurately record survey findings using handheld devices and reporting systems.
• Liaise with repair teams to ensure leaks are repaired efficiently.
• Support network investigations and performance improvement activities.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
