Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience (education substitution allowed).
• Experience designing, leading, and evaluating staff training and development initiatives.
• Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring professionals.
• Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience delivering engaging presentations to diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership, HR, and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage agency-wide professional development strategies and the Staff Training Academy.
• Supervise training staff and daily operations to align with NDCS values and workforce goals.
• Collaborate with NDCS leadership to design and evaluate leadership development and retention initiatives.
• Oversee the agency-wide wellness program, its development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide coaching to supervisors on leadership opportunities, succession, and growth.
• Serve as the agency contact for the State Employee Assistance Program.
