Qualifications

• Master's degree in education administration and teaching experience.
• Experience in educational leadership and program administration.
• Knowledge of educational regulations and policies, preferably within correctional or alternative education settings.
• Ability to lead, manage, and hold staff accountable to performance standards.
• Experience with budget formulation, justification, and grant acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage educational programming in designated NDCS facilities.
• Ensure educational programs adhere to NDE regulations and NDCS policies.
• Formulate and justify budgetary requests for the education program, including securing and maintaining grant funding.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate operational priorities, ensuring objectives are met and align with the broader goals of NDCS.
• Analyze academic data, monitor teacher performance and identify student needs to enhance the overall educational experience.
